Too often activists manipulate the legal system to advance an anti-free-market agenda that hinders innovation and limits freedom and choice. Our legal system should strive for fairness, predictability, and efficiency; claims presented by experts must be based on sound scientific methodology; and lawyers must not be allowed to expand and abuse traditional legal theories in an attempt to regulate safe, everyday products through the back door.
