Women bring a unique perspective to critical issues ranging from health care to national defense to education. We should be advocates for women who aspire to leadership positions, and we should work to provide an environment that encourages women to engage in public discourse and debate on issues and policies that affect them, their families and communities without the fear of being shamed, mocked or silenced.
