A record number of women are running for office and winning their respective races, assuring that women are well-represented in all levels of public office across the country. Women bring a distinct perspective to the issues. Sadly, however, personal attacks still prevent many women from participating in politics and their communities. That’s not right or fair. If we want to encourage women to serve in important leadership positions, then we should respect and champion ALL women.
