OBAMACARE TACKING ON FEE AFTER FEE (OR IS IT TAX AFTER TAX?)
Through Regulatory Fiat, American Workers May Shoulder the Bill

Heath: "Even though insurance coverage will expand somewhat under ObamaCare, the law (weighing in at $1.7 trillion in new spending) is expensive. Upon close examination, sadly the "benefits" of the law don't seem all that beneficial, and the costs become undeniable. Ultimately, ObamaCare leaves women and their families with fewer choices, a lower quality of care and the bill to bear."

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – New reports have emerged that under President Barack Obama's health care law new fees (or taxes) will likely be passed on to American workers to cover costs of pre-existing conditions. Independent Women's Forum Senior Healthcare Analyst Hadley Heath released the following statement:

"How ironic: The 'Affordable' Care Act, which promised to 'bend the cost curve down,' is continually tacking on fee after fee (or is it tax after tax?) through regulatory fiat.  How, exactly, will this make health care more affordable when American workers may end up shouldering the bill?

"We've known all along that insuring more people with pre-existing conditions would cost more money, but rather than allowing actors in the marketplace to compete for the best way to do this, the government is establishing a collective pool of money which will be doled out to insurance companies.  How many hands does this money have to pass through before it reaches the doctors or nurses who actually provide the health care?

"Why would our federal government dream that it could estimate – more efficiently than insurance companies – the added costs of these newly insured? Instead of a third–party payer system – the system before ObamaCare that we were all frustrated with – the government is stepping in to become the fourth party (or perhaps fifth, as they handcuff employers into this scheme as well), adding another layer of costs, paperwork, and frustration.
