Our daughter entered the first grade “virtually” in September. She took a pair of scissors and cut a chunk out of her hair in front of her classmates on Zoom. I am working from home. She refused to work on her assignments. Refused to do the online work without severe tantrums. I had the school social worker, art teacher and music teacher ask why she refuses to participate and what could they do to help? I said they could open up the schools for a start. She may need to repeat the first grade.
