Bridget Kevin Myers is visiting fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum.  She is an experienced health care provider and attorney. With over thirteen years of clinical experience as a registered nurse in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, she has a unique perspective on healthcare delivery. 

In addition to being a nurse, Bridget practiced as a healthcare attorney in Chicago representing healthcare providers in business transactions and regulatory matters. Bridget also clerked for a federal magistrate judge while living in Oxford, Mississippi.  For the past eight years she has worked in higher education working on health care policy, experiential learning and administration at the University of Missouri.

Bridget’s policy interests are in health care and education.  She believes a dose of competition can help just about anything.

Bridget has a BA in History from Michigan State University, a BSN from Rush University, a JD from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a LL.M. in Health Law from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.   

Currently Bridget resides in Missouri- the heart of flyover country- with her family and two Great Danes. She serves as a Trustee at Columbia Independent School, the only JK -12 independent school in mid-Missouri.
