Emma Miccoli is the media relations manager at Independent Women and oversees the media relations team at IWF, driving strategy to boost visibility and coverage. She coordinates media outreach, press events, and op-ed efforts, while identifying timely opportunities to amplify our organization’s message.
Prior to joining Independent Women, Emma gained valuable experience in various communications roles at both the state and federal levels. Most recently, she served as Rapid Response Director for the Hogan for Maryland Senate Campaign, where she played a key role in executing fast-paced media strategy and messaging efforts.
In 2020, Emma earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Washington College with a minor in Justice, Law, and Society. During her time at Washington College, she was a member of the Women’s Varsity Rowing Team and the Zeta Tau Alpha, Gamma Beta Chapter. In 2023, she completed her Master’s degree at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
Emma is also a proud military spouse, drawing constant inspiration from the resilience and dedication of the military community. Her personal and professional experiences have shaped her commitment to public service and effective communication.
