Jasmyn Jordan, originally from Normal, Illinois, is a senior at the University of Iowa, double majoring in Political Science and International Relations with a minor in News and Media Literacy.

Currently, Jasmyn serves as Chairwoman of both the University of Iowa Chapter and the National Chapter of Young Americans for Freedom. Through her leadership, she has hosted many prominent speakers and organized impactful activism projects on campus.

On November 8, 2023, Jasmyn testified before the House Judiciary Committee about Free Speech on College Campuses.

Her involvement in the Honors Program includes working as an admin, serving as an Honors Outreach Ambassador and Teaching Assistant for introductory courses, and contributing as an Honors Writing Fellow.

Jasmyn has participated in prestigious fellowships, including the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute Civic Leaders Fellowship and the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America Fellowship.

Her professional experience extends to interning on local, statewide, and national political campaigns.

In addition to her academic and political work, Jasmyn has been featured on a variety of community, national, and international news platforms.
