Jessica Shotwell joins IWF as a Social Media Assistant to help advance social media efforts and to reach more women alongside the Social Media Manager.

Prior to IWF, she interned for the Media Research Center in external affairs, assisting the department in external communications, e-newsletters, research, and recruitment. She was also given the opportunity to be a video editor as part of a group effort for a contest and won 1st place. Jessica doesn’t know if her group actually earned a video spot with PragerU, but she still gets excited talking about the achievement.

She also interned for Liberty University Career Services in digital marketing, helping the department to revamp their blog and conduct marketing research. Jessica additionally conducted social media and other marketing efforts for her school’s Bible study club and radio station.

Jessica is a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Strategic Communications and minor in Digital Media: Video. Her other college activities included being a member of American Marketing Association, Lambda Pi Eta (National Communication Association), and competing in Forensics Speech & Debate in the platform speech category.

Jessica grew up in New Jersey but now resides in Virginia. She loves watching movies, shopping, and exploring new places in her free time. Future goals of hers are to pick up the piano and flute again, and to save up for a Sony camera.
