Jordanne Kemper is the director of advocacy at Independent Women. In her role, she develops and executes strategic issue education and advocacy campaigns to advance Independent Women’s strategic policy initiatives. She also oversees Independent Women’s nationwide state affairs program. Jordanne came to Independent Women with over a decade of philanthropy, campaign management, and legislative affairs experience. 

Jordanne is a passionate advocate for the importance of local government and out-of-the-box ideas. Since joining Independent Women, Jordanne developed a high ROI state affairs program. In just two years, Jordanne facilitated the implementation of Independent Women’s Stand with Women legislative options to become law in over a third of the states across the country.

Jordanne graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science. 

Originally a native of New England, Jordanne left the salt water for the mountains of Montana, where she now lives with her husband, Paul, their daughter Harper, and their dog, Roka.
