In addition to being a member of IWF Board of Directors, Mary heads her own political consulting firm.  Previously, she was vice president of government relations for SAP America.  Mary has more than 25 years of experience in government affairs. She was also vice president of congressional affairs and federal government affairs for AT&T. Prior to AT&T, she provided strategic counsel and government relations services to clients such as National Broadcasting Company, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Morton International. Her government experience first began within the United States Senate, assisting Senator Paula Hawkins in special projects. She also conducted health care casework as a floor assistant in the Senate Republican cloakroom, working with Senate leadership in tracking and scheduling all legislation on the Senate floor. 

She holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Rollins College. She is an active member of the District of Columbia Bar Association and Federal Communications Bar and is also involved in several political organizations, including the American Counsel of Young Political Leaders, where she is a member of the board and the organization’s representative to the United Nations.
