Natalie Goodnow is a former visiting fellow at Independent Women’s Forum. Natalie works on policy issues affecting children and families, with a focus on foster care and adoption. She has previously worked as a policy advisor for the Administration for Children and Families at the Department of Health and Human Services, a research fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty, and managing editor of AEIdeas at the American Enterprise Institute. Her research and writing has included topics such as foster care, religious freedom, poverty, education, and economic opportunity.

Her writing has been published in outlets including the The Hill, National Review Online, New York Daily News, and the Washington Examiner. She earned her master’s degree in social and urban policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and graduated with honors from Princeton University with a bachelor’s in classics. Natalie lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and their young sons.
