I am a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and the attached photo is of my best friends, all Kappas at Arizona State in the mid-1970s. We were celebrating our collective 60th birthdays at Martha’s Vineyard! We gather as often as we can and meet almost monthly on Zoom in between mini-reunions and our decade birthdays.

There is nothing like a 50-year-long friendship of shared experiences! Our collegiate experience would not have been the same if a biological male had been present in our dorm floor living space, and I am personally in the fight to preserve our women-only spaces — in sororities, sports, and other organizations that should be protected.

I am fighting for my 13-year-old granddaughter to have the same opportunities to join a group of diverse women to learn from, and if we lose this battle, sororities and the personal growth, philanthropic opportunities, and leadership training they offer will cease to exist!

This is unacceptable to me, so I fully support the lawsuit the brave young women in Wyoming have brought against the deficient leadership of KKG, and I thank you for your role as well.
