My daughter was and still is a terrific athlete. She ended up as a professional golfer. Her first sport was swimming and as a freestyler won the state championship for 8 and under. She continued swimming even through high school and it became obvious that she, at only 5’2, would lose freestyle sprints to taller girls based on the dive and turns. She did not ask to be given a head start because she was shorter. She chose golf. Even there, size and strength was an issue, however she competed, and did not believe she should receive any special treatment because she was shorter off the tee. I am sure the taller stronger girls are feeling that same way now when forced to compete against a male. However, big difference in that my daughter was competing against other females and she accepted her natural physical capabilities. It is so unfair to ask our biggest and strongest women to compete against men!!!
