I am a former NCAA Track and Cross County athlete. Although I have never competed against a transgender female, I have competed against males.

In high school, our coaches would group us in workouts by time/pace so that meant girls were mixed working out with boys. The Varsity girls typically were grouped with JV boys based on pace. Would our top girl be beating all the JV boys? Yes. Would she be near the varsity boys? No.

Why? Because physically female bodies cannot compete with the “equivalent” varsity male genetics. That’s the science. Period. No matter how hard the females trained those boys would always beat us. I think long distance running is the perfect argument to this case. Look at any big name marathon… the first 20 people to cross the line are biological males, then 21 (or later) is a biological female. And biological females are spread thin amongst the biological men.
