“Being an independent contractor means I get to be at every event important to my family, which is important to me. It also means I can work anytime I have nothing better to do and it means I have more control over what I make. When I was raising my children it was the only thing that made it so I could raise them and have what we needed. This allowed us vacations, we could have not had at a job. I could work for 2 weeks, make what I needed for the month, and take the rest of the month off. You can not do that with a job.”
